Hey guys very new to this scene. I'm a fresh hunter first timer. Im just trying to wrap my head around what causes these specific strain to grow? Did spores needed to land there for them to grow or do they naturally occur? Say for example I find some on a patch of bark. Did it have spores that landed there previously or did they magically come to existence. My question is, do they naturally spawn or do they only spawn due to the fact spore were spread there? If so does that mean once upon a time there was only one subaeruginosa strain that spread across the lands?
Also what's stops them from evolving into a poisonous strain or hybridizing with another strain? And can spores be genetically modified if so Couldn't the government genetically change the seeds (spores) to contain harmful molecules to prevent people from using magic mushrooms?
And how did mushrooms come into existence

Spores are the seed, which germinate into the mycelium. The mycelium grows and 'fruits' that is makes mushrooms which spread the spores further. It is natural, not sure what you mean by naturally. Nothing magically comes into existence.

For real haha, if they magically spawned and mutated, why aren't they still mutating

What is it with things being "magically spawned"?

I mean if i saw a random patch growing, I'd imagine they randomly spawned?

Spores are lighter than air. If you see shrooms, spores floated there.
The mycelial networks form in the ground as well, but they were started by drifting spores also.
