No, I'm saying he's doing bad.
Just because it's not necessarily unprecedented and other people are also doing bad does not negate the fact that he's doing bad.

With great power comes great responsibility.
In his position words are not something one can afford to say without measure, because they have the real potential for serious consequences , the highest office in the land is highly impactful on much of the public, they get it straight from the top of the pyramid, outa the horses mouth, and take it on faith.
So yes, he bares responsibility and blame.
That’s what being an adult entails. Not even going to explain how being the president of the US factors into that equation since it should be plain as day.

Sorry to hear the Morrow .
Was he tested or just presumed positive? I doubt that there's much, if any, post mortem testing going on. But it's scary to think that we might not even be counting at home death's of people who have tested positive.

He went to hospital with symptoms, got tested, was sent home with albuterol and told to quarantine until test results came back, came back positive, they told him come in if you feel like you need to, he didnt go in, had a heart attack the following morning. No previous heart attacks. He was 61. Only known comorbidity was obesity but he probably did have some degree of metabolic syndrome

Scary stuff.
And it's especially fucked that this isn't counted.
Partially why I think we should hold our horses when it comes to assuming that this is way less lethal than we think. We just don't know yet.

Is is scary that he apparently wasnt THAT sick but died suddenly. Becoming increasingly apparent that blood clotting problems are the proximate cause of many if not most cases of covid19 mortality. Even mainstream media is beginning to report on the strange low satting despite lack of dyspnea phenomenon, though they are treating like it is more mysterious than it really is. Even if it werent the case that covid damages the liver directly or through dysregulation of iron metabolism, it is no secret that systemic inflammation in and of itself can lead to liver failure and therefore to blood clotting disorders

Well fingers crossed that we do see that death rate inch down a little with more routine prophylactic treatment for blood clotting. I am really curious and cautiously hopeful about the outcome of that.

South korea and germany are obvious examples of this. Even south korean pop culture film is clearly more heavily influenced by real science. The south korean movie flu is highly dramatized but prescient in many ways.
If South Korea has the same personal ettiquete guidelines as Japan then them having a lack of outbreak wouldn’t be that surprising.

Really? In Finland for example total 4000+ cases, under 200 deaths. Not so bad I would say. The restrictions are working and hospitals are not running on 200%+ capaticity. We have more er beds that are in use and recovery rate is with par on new cases.
