That’d be the best Xmas present ever if you could make ornaments that would fruit. Hang them when the tree goes up early/mid December and be all set to trip in the new year.
But you’d either have to live somewhere real humid or suspend the ornament in one of those hamster balls.
Or you know maybe just loose plastic for an invitro type holiday styling.

Well we will see. If this boredom holds out until Christmas time I may have bigger issues to deal with. This idea may actually not be bonkers enough.

Apparently spherical cement molds aren't a high priority item. Looks like they are still in like Ohio or some shit. Looks like I will have some APE spawn at prime readiness when they do show up though. Hopefully I will have time enough to go with it.

This is a shit update...but an update.
Molds are in my house. 
Gunna do my best to do something with this tomorrow. Will document the process as it goes. Obviously will become the latest, hottest Tek and most likely the only proper way to cultivate.

I know this isn’t quite the same but it was a fun one. I’m interested to see how yours turns out. Mine didn’t turn out the way I wanted but I also didn’t top layer it or anything. Haha this was burma. I might have to do this again with a more dense fruiter. I’m thinking I’d have to top layer almost double my normal with all the height.

Those look like those kiddie sandbox molds. Put the spawn/coir in and put it on top of the rest of substrate? Wait for 100% colonization before removal.
At least that would be my guess.
