Thread was closed cause i live in fairytale land. Updated pics
    #26622056 - 04/23/20 11:00 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

So here's the updated pics off one that has matured.

Cap is now slightly grey (pic makes it seem bright white but still)
Has zero veil
Gills are a reddish white
Doesn't bruise blue at all
Tastes immediately like ammonia upon touching tongue
Grew out of a "rust" colored patch of hpoo.

I don't really like seeing some old fuck close my thread because he doesn't like being wrong and cant seem to provide any info as to why he is right other than using his words.
If anyone can provide valid information as to why these charextaristics would define this mush as being a cube then I will be the first to apologize but after seeing a lot of other posts where mr.bod doesn't like being wrong or can't progress with the times I take it personal considering he has provided ZERO evidence of another situation of cubes looking like this. They grew alongside MDK.

The other matured cap had folds in it. And i will take another pic when this one dries of how it likes to "disappear"

Now if you research "inky caps" all the traits i provided are almost dead on. While almost none of them define it as a cube. Or a leucistic one other than its all white.

Seems like mr.bod just doesn't like other people finding out new things in this field and seems to argue with anyone who questions his "knowledge" but in this ever changing world of mycology i would hate to be the cause of someone eating a poisonous mushroom .....but clearly mr.bod doesn't care. Provide proof of what your saying.
You clearly don't know everything and rather than try to prove yourself you just close threads that prove you wrong.
Did you close the other thread i posted a link of where someone else had this same type of mushroom grow and worded it "i have grown cubensis for years and have never seen these little guys before"
Keep in mind the MDK that grew all looked besutiful and MUCH larger than these. Even the smallest abort /pin looked NOTHING like this mushroom. So to give someone like bod the power to close someone's thread who is merely trying to provide valid information to others so no one gets hurt or wastes time growing a non cube is ridiculous. I see why this site isnt liked by some of the younger generation because some of you cant seem to realize that the world is changing and while old information is still valid...new and improved information can also be found.
Uncle Ben's tek is a prime example. As it obviously works just fine but may be since the bod's of this world don't like seeing someone else figure out ways to grow lots of mush without putting in the work like he did is crazy. That's the kind of information this community needs is updated and new information that allows the growth of these mushrooms easier for everyone. Ive been on these boards for 8years but only been active on them the last few months and have begun noticing the bias in people like bod who just want people to use his method and give him credit but when someone like me posts something that proves him wrong he just closes the thread rather than growing with the times like the rest of us. Get over yourself dude. ITS NOT A CUBE.
Prove it with verified facts or just admit you are wrong. NOTHING about this mushroom is the trait of a cube. But if bod says so it must be true right? And if he's been proving wrong then shun whoever has that information.
Hate to say it the reason why people like me are begining to go to other sites is because of people like bod. So keep it up and before long shroomery will cease to exist which is a shame because of the great informtion to be found here. It only takes one bad apple but since mr.bod is a TC then ill probably get screwed for this even though im providing valid information to prove what i say and the one arguing with me is just using his own words rather than links/sources/pics or any other kind of valid information.
It's a shame.
Happy shrooming people:)
And if you want updated information DM me for some links to other sites that have newer and MUCH easier ways to start learning mycology.
PS. Ive heard back from my mycologist buddy working in Paul stamets company who has also verified this is not a cube but the thread was closed so clearly bod is God haha

I think you should take better pics and post in the identification forum.
