Plate update time! So I recently a mate of mine sent me some prints (You know who you are ) and I decided to get some of the spores started. There were some mold spores on the tinfoil unfortunately so I had to transfer only a few days after the spores germinated, however they are looking so beautiful white on green. My other B+ plates are really coming along well.

Some Very good growth over the last few days.
My attempts at isolating myc types(fluffy/rhizomorphic) has been successful.

It's going to be the main plate I take transfers from for when I spawn this to grain. Honestly it was absolute pure luck not uncommon for a leprechaun such as I but that was only my fifth transfer from my first MS plate.

I noticed with all the varieties I've ran that a lower nutrient ratio encouraged more rhizo growth... I've been running 4g LME, 8g Agar and 388g water. True 1% solution.
These 2 were part of a test group I did with varying nutrient ratios.

It's kinda hard to see because they're fully grown but the lower nute (1.25% in this case) was obviously more rhizo then the second (1.5%)
EDIT: I'm currently running this test group out and have pics and details in the Ecuadorian and gulf coast grow log in my journal if you wanna check it out!

Just wanted to drop an update of the jars I dropped some MS germination plates onto. They're looking fantastic! I couldn't be more tickled pink.
Here is some beautiful growth, I am allowing the Gulf Coast cubensis to grow out a little more before I take transfers.

These are all my active plates rn. I can spot mold in my gulf coast #3 plate, can you? I have already made the transfers and will observe. I have disposed of the contaminated plate after taking transfers as well. I noticed blue bruising on one of my Golden Teacher plates, the myc grew from below pushing the wedge onto the top of the dish, I'll have to observe this for just a bit longer.

OH right ye I forgot to mention that one. Rusty White cubensis, I took transfers of the myc furthest away from that mold, I made over 30 transfers today haha!

That B+ plate is going to throw pins soon hopefully and I can get some good clones
Going back to the jars I did at the start of this thread - They're doing so freakin' well I couldn't be happier. I have had ZERO contamination with my jars and after I had some good plates with some beautiful growth I made more than just the couple I had.

My feelings exactly demonic, I'm doing a 2qt tub which is the smallest tub I have, and then I'm doing a 5qt tub. each will colonize fully with a casing at the start of coir/verm. Once colonized I plan to place a very thin layer of casing to stimulate pins and keep the substrate from drying out.
Edit: I changed my mind actually, I am going to use all 7qts in a slightly larger tub I have just acquired.

Alright so it's been 10 days since I spawned those 7 qts into 1 brick Coir, 1.5qts Verm, 2 Table spoons gypsum this is a modified tub with holes first covered with one layer of micropore tape and then polyfil once I deemed it time. FAE has been introduced slowly and the tub is kept at a steady 73f (or 23c) I have not misted as it does not need it and wont need it till first fruits begin to mature.
As you can see hyphal knots are beginning to form and I expect fruit within the next week.

Since I dropped my B+ plates into grain already, followed by my Gulf Coast plates, I decided to start some APE and Rustywhytes. The APE i started with LC however I did not take pics of the jar or process during that time oh well.

Two days later and I have some fine pins showing up! And some funky blob Looks like B+ mutating again.
 Overview of the entire tub
So far everything is looking fantastic, other than the unknown blob. Any ideas guys?
EDIT: Got my question answered elsewhere, this is more than likely a genetic mutation and I have nothing to worry over.
