I'm doing alright, been a lot better though. For a while now it's felt like the rug was swept out from under me and I've been experiencing a months-long fall to the floor. I was handling it okay, but I knew what was wrong. About a week and a half ago I had a really strong psilohuasca experience and I've been left with the impression that now is the time to work and grind. So that's good, I just need to get the ball rolling. How are you man?

In the fire working with positive COVID patients. Family freak outs. Deaths. Lawsuits. Long hours. Police parades showing appreciation. Positive covid staff and patient numbers rising. Staff quiting left and right to avoid exposure.
Reminds me of the scene when they quarantine E.T.

Great thread 'mon.
I'm doing great - better than I have my whole life - and I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
I know there'll be another storm headed my way sometime, but for the time being, I'm enjoying having all my ducks in a row and feeling like I've finally got my shit together.

I’m doin alright
Gonna look into taking an MSF course soon, not tryna spend a fuckload of money on it tho
Plus I’d probably have to take off work for it cuz I live in the middle of nowhere
It’d probably be a lot of fun tho and I’d learn how to avoid getting killed n stuff so that’s always good

It’s one of two ways to get a motorcycle endorsement in Colorado, the other way is to take your motorcycle to the DMV and take their test but my current bike doesn’t run and isn’t legal so I can’t do that one
I’m gonna buy a nice newer well-maintained one soon tho, I’m sure the course is worth taking as well

Been doing good, could use a break though. I've been working a lot, my job is especially essential right now and the Hours Of Service regulations are relaxed for truck drivers depending on what freight I'm hauling. I've been running a lot of food/frozen food and vegetables to stores and their distribution warehouses. I've been to a few prisons here in Michigan, bringing semi trailer full of commissary goods for the inmates.
I feel pretty fortunate to have a good job and be able to have so much work, I know some people are really struggling to stay afloat with the lockdowns everywhere
Hopefully you all are doing good or at least the best you can in these trying times
Stay safe everyone

I'm good and feeling even better reading all the mostly oppromistic outlooks from everyone. Life hasn't really skipped a beat for me fortunently. We started making hand sanitizer at work so I've actually been working more than usual. Hope everyone stays healthy and we all go back to normal very soon.

I'm good thanks, things are looking up after 2+ years of relative misery. Glad to be part of this community even though I've only just arrived.
Wishing everybody well. Stay safe those of you living/working in hot spots at the moment. Hopefully all this craziness will be a memory soon enough.

Just made a fresh cup of espresso. Topped it up with some melted Ghee butter, and a couple drops of vanilla/caramel extract in half-and-half cream.
Absolutely scrumptious. I can officially get high in 7 days without worry. Planning for, what may perhaps be, my most epic fungi trip. And going to also make some cannabis edibles for the first time. That plus some good black Russian vanilla/rum tobacco for my pipe, and a kava kava - Passion flower - ginger root mixture extract. 🍯 . Jah man.

LOL you smoke a pipe? What kind? I smoke one like this:

What's the mental effect of that mixture like?

A prince styled pipe. As for the combo, I don’t use it all together anymore . I have twice before and it was fine, Passion flower root and leaf, and kava kava are mild MAO inhibitors, so they potentiate. But kava kind be kind of sedating in a strange way - not always the type one associates with alcohol or sedatives, but it can also be to that effect sometimes, and because of the random variability I don’t use it during psilocybin trips anymore. Just meant to say that’s what I’ve got in store laying around, but I’ll be able to actually indulge some after a week.
I prefer to be as lucid as possible. So just the fungi, and usually some tobacco during the actual trip. I don’t like cannabis during the trip, because it diminishes the essential quality of lucidity and clarity that I need to be able to snake charm my own unconscious mind and unify with it and my environment in ecstatic Union.
When they are all mixed together , cannabis, psilo, kava, tobac, and passion, it becomes more delirious. So I stick to the aforementioned.
If I wanted that I’d just take some of the datura that grows outside my neighborhood. But after twice dancing with that plant in the past was enough for atleast the next decade.
If you meant just that 3 plant tincture mixture or so, that’s a nice effect on its own, using a dropper to dose it in some hot chamomile honey tea.
Moderate sedation, very mildly dissociating, euphoric, and paradoxically stimulating.

. Got it from some yuppie grocery store, Either Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s.
Brand name: Gaia Organics, All certified organic extract-tinctures, certified quality. https://www.gaiaherbs.com/
**I will sometimes mix a select few of them in different proportions to get a specific intended effect - but they are also perfectly good on their own.
Right now I’ve got...
1) Valerian Root tincture @ 333mg / 1.3 mL
2) Kava Kava Root tincture @ 50mg Kavalactones / .67 mL
3) Passion Flower Vine Tincturr @ 500mg / 2 mL
4) Ginger Root tincture @ 500mg / .67 mL
5) Maca Root Capsules @ 500mg / pill
And I want...
Cordyceps E, Corydalis E, Lions Mane E, and Full Spectrum Cannabis/Hemp E, and Asian Ginseng Extract.

That's awesome man, thanks so much for the info. I'll pick up a few this weekend (as I'll be at Wholefoods anyway).
Which combo do you most recommend for pleasant effects?

It really depends, kava can have interactions depending on what illness or medication you may have, so be careful. And the others can have some interactions as well, so know thyself and thy medication if you take any. I don’t , and I don’t have illnesses to worry about so I don’t have to worry about that. Just a word of caution is all. Read up on “trip” reports of each - some are more accurate than others. And their effects.
Then before you start mixing I recommend you try each once on their own to know their effects for yourself and how they effect you - then you need to find the right dosage for your body. After that if you want you can mix.
My favorite is 3 dropper fulls of kava kava extract into a weekend morning double espresso. This is my fav. The caffeine + kava in a 4oz cup of espresso with vanilla cream synergized so we’ll. No jitters, awake, energized, but a smooth mild - mod euphoric anxiolytics warmth and calm coolheadnesss.
For nights if you really want to see how sedating a combo can get, 3-5 droppers of kava + 2 valerian + 2 Passion flower ones. But you should see what amount works for you, bc these amounts are all based off whatever my natural tolerance was at the time. But I started off with about 2 dropper fulls of a single tincture alone at first before upping the amount. Some people take much much more than anything I’ve posted.
I mostly only use the ginger as an anti nausea aid for psychedelics and the occasional upset stomach. Also. The combos I mentioned I only do once every several months now. But back in the day I would use them 3-4 times a week on and off. No problems there once familiar with the effects and duration and interaction profiles.
I don’t use Kratom anymore, but back in 2016 I used to do the above combo 20 or so minutes before taking 4-7 grams of red vine kratom and nod my face off on the weekends while smoking my pipe and reading a book and that was my fools gold heaven for a while.
Maca root is energizing , different from caffeine, can’t explain it, don’t take it any more though. Not worth imho.
Kava is the most pleasant once you figure it out ( I prefer it to alcohol personally) and valerian and Passion flower ones are more mild and not so much pleasant as they are weak sedatives- but it depends on your physiology. I know some who it can knock out and they feel good, but kava is the mainstay imho , but they are synergistic from my experience.
Just don’t use it for more than 21 days consecutively, because it depletes a liver enzyme you need. So it needs to build back up, and breaks allow for that, and it’s only a problem if you use it more than the allotted time or in giganto doses.
Unlike Kratom which can cause physical and psychological dependence when used consecutively, and then withdrawal symptoms when you stop.
