Check this video out. I think the title is clickbait and there's no need to gatekeep psychedelia but it's an interesting look into the past. Even for Terence McKenna it came in waves, I think how he put it was in terms of a call and I think I can agree with that.

I'll be honest and say I feel the same way. I would trip daily if it wasn't such a big deal haha. I say big deal because not only do I have to prepare for the upcoming day I also have to dedicate an entire day to just being alone at home.
Recently I havnt been in the mood but I don't think many people are in any kind of mood from what I have seen haha

I've actually been in the mood a lot lately. I've been doubling down on my research and doing a lot more cultivating in addition to a very good experience. That may just be me, but I've used this opportunity to sink deep into the wave.

Yea maybe if my lifestyle wasn't swept from beneath me I'd feel different. If I can only choose one thing to do it would be going to the gym

for now, clear some space and work out on the floor, squats, pushups, crunches, hand stand, stretches.

I feel this 100%. Lately with the lovkdown in my state and everything - I've had a lot of free time. I wake up in the morning like "today will be a good day to take mushrooms".. but i never end up taking them. It takes me a lot to convince myself to eat them honestly. My ego always gets in the way and puts up a fight.
Though, I did have a pretty difficult trip last time I took them so I believe that's a huge factor of why I haven't taken them. Also.. like Dennis Mckenna said in one of his interviews.
Its not a drug like coke or a "feel good" drug. Its something where you have to talk yourself into taking them. Like if you're a weed smoker and someone offers you a puff of weed.. youll for sure hit it.
Now let's say you're a mushroom user and someone offers you a dose right then and there. I bet there's a better chance of you saying no other than taking it right there.
I always have the urge to take them.. but the clarity to understand the bigger picture. And I think that's why I also get a lot out of my trips.. even if they're extremely difficult.
My buddies and I are going on a backpacking trip this weekend though.. and I think I'm finally going to take them when we are out in the woods.
Your body and mind will reassure you when it's time to take them again!

I still get fed up, but that’s a whole different story to depression.
My last time did too make me accept myself for who I am. And it was posting my trip report on this community for a user to almost "show" me that its okay to be the way I am. I will find someone to accept me for who I am.

Is that the number one lesson from mushrooms; to just be yourself?
I hope you have a great trek today with your buddies; I’m not a little jealous

Facts I wish the gym was open. I spent a lot of productive time there and working out is a form of meditation for me. My life had been going through massive upheaval right before the quarantine so I suppose I've probably felt a little more comfortable in the chaos. Still a weird time to trip, but that's what made it so important for me. This pandemic is an opportunity for irrational thought patterns, not in my house.
