Womb Raider.
Not much of a plot if you ask me.
...and...
Any Movies or shows with incredibly obvious and transparently forced feminism, they make me cringe worse than those mid 90s era Hollywood blockbuster films where patriarchal man-splaining to the beautiful damsel in distress trope was half of every movie.

There's one genuinely good feminist movie I've seen lately, and that's Blow The Man Down.
It doesn't have an agenda. It's just a group of well written, interesting characters in a well written, well directed, well acted movie. And it happens to be centered around women.

I'm actually shocked you're applying modern race politics to The Lord of the Rings Asante. That's some funny shit man. People see connections where they want to see them though.
Movies were okay imho. Not polished turds.

Right? PC much to much.
I love all of Tolkien’s works so much that I don’t see straight when it comes to the movies, but I thought they were done as well as could be expected, and that’s pretty good by movie standards for adaptions from novels.
Silmarillion FTW.

Lawd yes. People should stick this crap up their asses and make entertainment already, stop trying to win awards from Hollywood critics.
"Women can do everything and white men are evil" plots are a drag, can't watch that crap. Especially when it's super obvious that the actresses couldn't really do what they are doing in the film. Oh, but it's entertainment.... Then why are the fucking socio-political narratives more important than the plot then? . Entertainment or agenda based propaganda, I don't think they can actually tell the difference.

Yeah, for adaptations they are actually really good. . Often the core of stories gets lost in this sort of endeavour.

I think buying into the idea that neonazi's like it for the reasons you don't might have more to do with you buying into the neo-nazi interpretation of the story than anything the author intended himself.
At the end of the day, it's a story about multiple races coming together despite their differences to defeat an angelic force that wanted to seize control of everything they shared in common with each other. There were a "monster" kind of enemy army raised to give a nod to folklore and mythology, I think it's a stretch to believe it was in anyway intended to depict a racial stereotype, especially when his own account is that it was more a reflection of WW1 which he fought in.

Quote:
His first novel The Hobbit, predecessor to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, first appeared in 1937, a time when the situation in Europe had turned ominous indeed, and would get far uglier still. It didn't take long after the book's initial success for Berlin publisher Rütten & Loening to express their interest in putting out a German edition, but first — in observance, no doubt, of the Third Reich's dictates — they asked for proof of Tolkien's "Aryan descent." The author drafted two replies, the less civil of which reads as follows:
25 July 1938 20 Northmoor Road, Oxford
Dear Sirs,
Thank you for your letter. I regret that I am not clear as to what you intend by arisch. I am not of Aryan extraction: that is Indo-Iranian; as far as I am aware none of my ancestors spoke Hindustani, Persian, Gypsy, or any related dialects. But if I am to understand that you are enquiring whether I am of Jewish origin, I can only reply that I regret that I appear to have no ancestors of that gifted people. My great-great-grandfather came to England in the eighteenth century from Germany: the main part of my descent is therefore purely English, and I am an English subject — which should be sufficient. I have been accustomed, nonetheless, to regard my German name with pride, and continued to do so throughout the period of the late regrettable war, in which I served in the English army. I cannot, however, forbear to comment that if impertinent and irrelevant inquiries of this sort are to become the rule in matters of literature, then the time is not far distant when a German name will no longer be a source of pride.
Your enquiry is doubtless made in order to comply with the laws of your own country, but that this should be held to apply to the subjects of another state would be improper, even if it had (as it has not) any bearing whatsoever on the merits of my work or its sustainability for publication, of which you appear to have satisfied yourselves without reference to my Abstammung.
I trust you will find this reply satisfactory, and
remain yours faithfully,
J. R. R. Tolkien
