If mycelium is exposed and blue, should I roll in more vermiculite? PICS included

My BRF cakes grew in a poorly designed SGFC with poor airflow (1/8” instead of 1/4” holes) for about a week. Couldn’t pin for obvious reasons. I finally built a new one but the mycelium had already outgrown its verm dunk/roll barrier so some of it is exposed and blue. Some cakes are pinning, some are not

For those that are blue and pinning, should I roll them in verm again? Will this hurt my cakes? Thanks!

They’re more blue now than in the pics but the amount of exposure is the same

IMO those cakes look good.

From what I've read most Trusted Cultivators do not advise rolling the cakes again in verm.

The blue might be bruising from handling the cakes. But I have also read that dry cakes will also bruise blue. But those cakes in the pics don't seem dry.
Some of those foil bases look too big. Maybe make them just a bit smaller, just a little bit wider than the cakes, so that the cakes can benefit from the humidity and fresh air coming from the perlite. Also pack the cakes together so that they can together create a nice microclimate that will help induce pinning.

I just finished my first grow and my cakes did the same, they eat the verm all around except at the top. I think that was because I had too much moisture and humidity and little FAE. I decreased the amount of misting (cause I was misting like crazy) and I started to let the lid open a couple of hours after misting.

But anyway better wait for an answer from someone with more experience.

Good luck
