First Monotub - Excessive Condensation & Metabolites?

Hello all,
I am well into my first grow and I was hoping for some feedback on the condensation and metabolite globes atop my bulk substrate. I spawned X4 quart rye jars of PE to coir/verm on 4/8. On 4/17 I felt I had 100% colonization and initiated "fruiting conditions", so today is day 6 of increased FAE and indirect sunlight throughout the day. Over the past ~48 hrs I noticed quite a bit of liquid globes resting on top of the mycelium, some of which are light yellow.

I've read that slight condensation and metabolites are to be expected. But I'm unsure if my situation is headed down the wrong path. I'm assuming the condensation is due to a ~15 degree temp differential between my living room where there is light, and my second floor where I store the tub at night (Im in the northern Rockies in a cold house...I'm just now getting above 65* room temp). And the metabolites appear minimal, but it'd be a bummer if this was the start of a big problem.
Any suggestions/feedback would be great - More/less FAE? - More/less sunlight? - Soak up condensation with paper towels? - Fruit this tub at my girlfriend's house who actually turns the heat on???
Cheers!!

that tub looks pretty good to me. Definitely not excessive metabolites there. I wouldn't try to soak up that moisture with paper towels... increase evaporation from the surface and you'll probably get things going. Increasing FAE and heat (this depends on your temp in the room you're growing in which you hinted at being cold...too hot = BAD, too cold = slow especially with PE) would be my suggestion if it is in fact even necessary. Remember PE is a rather slow fruiter and from your timeline you should be slowly starting to see some knotting. I've never grown PE so don't have any experience with it besides obsessive trawling of forums for the past year ...

You can see the little mutant blobs forming. First flush is almost always a ton of them, type “penis envy blobs” into google image search and you’ll have a good idea. Google ad sense might show some interesting stuff afterwards, though.

I think it looks good and those surface conditions are fine. Just keep waiting.

Awesome! I love pe. Try to remove that tape that’s holding your liner to the sides. Or next time don’t tape your liner to the sides of the tub. It’s supposed to shrink with the substrate.. being taped to the sides kinda defeats the purpose. Also if you’re like me and enjoy challenges don’t use a liner at all. As long as your surface conditions are on point you don’t need a liner. But good luck and have fun my friend! Looking good✌️✌️

Yep, that was going to be my morning task after reading threads all night. Makes sense that it needs to shrink
What about dunking after a first flush? Should I plan to replace the liner, or just clean the tub and drop the cake in there?

Well this is what I do… after first flush I heavily mist my large mono’s a few separate times. Third flush I’ll dunk the substrate so I gently pull the liner away from the sides. If it stays underneath then I keep it there,, if it comes out then it comes out. It’s really your preference at the time. Minivmono’s and shoeboxes I dunk for 30-45 mins,, if the liner stays it stays if it don’t it don’t. Hope that helps

Sounds good, I'll plan for lots of misting after early flushes
It's kind of a pseudo-mini-mono, 40 qt 13" X 18" with ~3" substrate. So if I'm seeing strong first/second flushes, you'd recommend only a 45 minute dunk? But if it starts petering out and producing far fewer pins should I maybe plan to dunk for longer?

I’ve been trying different times as far as dunking. Sometimes I’ll pour a couple few cups of water down the side of the tub and wait a couple hours and see if I can pour out any excess. Tbh I rarely keep track of time when dunking. Just no less than 30 mins. I’ve read people say 4 hours and I’ve read 30 mins. Maybe a TC will see this and chime in
