If there is an introduce yourself thread, I couldn't find it, so I'm sorry if I am not supposed to be starting my own thread. I figured it was okay since it let me start one with only 3 posts!
So, I'm a 29 year old headhunter. I'm from Indiana and have an apartment in Indianapolis but I forget what color it is inside. I've been trapped in New York since May 9th because everyone in New York has Coronavirus and I'm afraid I'll get shot for trying to go home.
I've always been sort of a party girl but I never did any psychedelics until 2 years ago. I had a bad experience that I was having a hard time getting past and the guy I was dating at the time turned out to be a huge loser but he did turn me on to psychedelics and I've been learning all I can about them since then. When I can get home, I'm going to try my first PF Tech.
I hope every one of you is safe and happy. I am looking forward to meeting more of you!

Welcome to the shroomery.
PF Tek is classic and followed to the letter is fool proof, it got me self sufficient in that department years ago. Definitely worth.
Check out the mushroom cultivation area for grows, advice, and self reports of member’s grows. Pics, videos, tutorials and teks abound.
Psychedelic experience has self written trip reports and all that jazz, it’s nice to read up on people’s experiences with psychedelics - good and bad trips.
Oh... and then there’s the Pub (here). It’s mostly memes galore, trolls, frenzied psychosis and a lotta love 💕. Family here.
Carry on.

Hello! Welcome!
Currently, there is not a specific thread for introductions. However, it would be a great idea.
I like your selfie pic. And u caught a random dude doing the Peace signs in the background. Too classic
Headhunter? Does that mean yer a Bounty Hunter? Whats it like?
That sucks youre stuck in New York. What an awful place to be right now (Coronavirus is outta control).
Enjoy that PF Tek. In the Mushroom Cultivation forum, reference Ziran's Updated PF Tek. Its the best one.
Good Luck!

Oh my gosh. I said May not March. Well it's been since March not May, so there's that. I know everyone has problems right now and I'm not trying to whine about my first world problems but, it's really expensive to do anything in New York compared to Indiana. I think there is a doorknob tax in New York. If you want to use the door, it's $20. Thank goodness the company that hired my company has stepped in. I've got a decent place to stay and enough food. I really have no idea how native New Yorkers are going to manage this. It's as bad here as anywhere in the world and it feels like everyone is on their own. If you are poor in New York I feel like there isn't any hope for you because how far will $1200 go in New York? They can't go to work and even if they did, there might not be anyone to buy whatever they are selling or making. And on top of that, all the stores are picked over so you can't buy the cheap brand of anything. UGH!
To answer your question, I'm getting by a lot better than a lot of people and I feel blessed. I just want to encourage everybody to think about the people in New York who don't have any way to stock up. It is soooo expensive here and only getting worse. I literally have no idea how anyone who makes what I do or less is supposed to do this. My company is making sure I can make it but think about how messed up it is, that I need rescued from New York. It feels like we are giving up on this city. There's an old movie called Escape from New York where there's a wall around the whole city and they shoot you if you try to leave and I feel like people in New York are living it!

Welcome to The Shroomery!
By headhunter, you mean you're a recruiter? How did you end up in New York? What issues did you have with your first psychedelic trip and what made you want to try it again?

mistamonsta thank you for the link. Logical Chaos thank you for the compliment. If you look right behind my head, I actually caught 2 random dudes photobombing me!
About the headhunter thing - yes, I am a bounty hunter. In fact, you're next on my list of fugitives. Maybe we could meet in person and I could tell you more?
It actually means that I am a recruiter for whatever company hires me. I meet the people who already work in a company or department, and interview them about what the team does and to try and get a feel for what sort of dynamic the team has. That's the most important part of what I do and honestly the only reason anyone should ever hire a recruiter!!! There's so much that goes into a great team that is beyond what you can put on a CV
Really great people sometimes find it impossible to work together. I try to find the company people who aren't just qualified, but are first and foremost a good fit with the company and the team. Then, I seduce them away from their current job or offers. It's a fun job because I normally get hired to find high income potential people. So my company picks up the bill for me to travel, entertain clients in nice restaurants, and I get a clothing allowance that is representative of the people I will meet with more than the income I earn. In other words, I get really great outfits for cheap!!
I have been inside wayyyy too much. Hope I'm not attention whoring with all these posts. Thank you all for the warm welcome! If you want to know anything else just ask! I can talk about my favorite subject all day.... ME!!!

Thank you Learyfan! I guess I didn't explain that well. The first time I ever did mushrooms was because I was having a hard time getting over some things that happened in a bad relationship I was in. My mother fell for abusive men and I wound up doing the same thing. I still have a physical injury from him and that's all I really want to say about it because none of it makes any sense to me either when I look back on it. It's just where I was and that's all I can say by way of explanation.
So, fast forward to when I took mushrooms the first time. I met a guy, he was great, totally different than anyone else I'd met. I smoke pot occasionally but that's all I had done and psychedelics sounded crazy to me. Like taking PCP or heroin sounds to people. Well, I didn't even want to be around him when he was on them because of my history with violent men. I was afraid he would have a bad trip and try to kill me.
But over time I began to trust him more and more becuase he never did anything to scare me. If something went wrong he didn't yell. The night I decided to try them was at dinner. We got totally the wrong food and it was really sort of absurd how bad the service was. I was really mad but the guy stood there and patiently explained over and over to the server that this WASN"T EVEN OUR FOOD!!! and I just couldn't believe how much compassion this man had for others. So I decided that I'd do mushrooms with him the next time he asked and I did it!
It was an intense experience to say the least. I don't think I had a "bad trip" exactly but nothing about it was recreational. The guy explored a lot of things with me and in the morning I felt like something pivotal had happened. I felt like a woman instead of a scared little girl.
He wound up knocking up not one but TWO other girls while we were together so in the end he was just a little TOO loving for my taste but in spite of him cheating on me and lying over and over in a screwed up way he did a lot of positive stuff for me so I guess I appreciate him. I really don't understand what he needed in someone else because I am devoted to a fault and let him do whatever he wanted with me, so long as it was with me only... but I guess some people still have growing to do even if they helped you grow a lot.
Probably more than you asked Learyfan!! Sorry... I am starved for human contact!!

Kind of bummed she didn't mean bounty hunter when she said head hunter. I want to hang out with Boba Fett on a mushroom trip.

Hello there! Welcome home. I came here to grow as well. I have never tried anything other than the PF tek and I have gotten a 1/4 lb of mushrooms from 12 jars in 2 months before. It's a classic and works great for a stash for oneself, or to share with a few friends.

That's really great to hear that it was such a transformative experience. Mushrooms definitely had a similar effect on me. Without getting too personal, could you go into more detail about your trip? Did you meditate or just talk or what?

You can't blame yourself when someone cheats on you. Some people just have a hole in their soul that just can't be filled and they go from person to person in an attempt to fix it. All I can say is it's a good thing he didn't knock you up. Did you find out about the two pregnant girls at once or did you find out about one, forgive him and then later found out about the other?
Why did your work send you to New York?
I'm currently out of work because my company relocated and I wasn't moving. How can I find the motivation to begin looking for work now, even though I don't need to because I have savings as well as severance until August. I don't want to get sloppy. I want to keep my attention to detail, which is how I noticed that you capitalized the "R" in "stRanger", because you like the Rangers. I'm afraid I'll lose that skill if I'm out of work for too long.
