Tripping as a Form of Repentance

A lot of religious traditions teach that repentance is a vital part of human spiritual development (speaking personally from a Christian point of view, myself). My question is, has anyone successfully used psychedelics in their own personal process for repentence? For example, perhaps psychs can help you develop empathy for the victims you have wronged. Not to mention, I've always found that shrooms have the keen ability to call me out on my bullshit and show me my weaknesses.
Note: I'm posting this in the spirituality forum because I'm interested in more than just self-improvement. What I'm talking about involves aligning yourself to a divine will.
Any thoughtful insights, experiences, or suggestions on this topic are welcomed!

Sometime when I trip I feel repentant. Sometimes when I trip I feel self acceptance. And there are myriad states of consciousness I have fallen into which have tremendous capacity as psychological curatives. What's more important is to find a few things that work well for you and stick with those. Otherwise it is a recipe for confusion and frittering your life away being ricochetd back an forth between all the archetypes planted in the mind by the great masters.
I used to think of psychedelics as a cure all and couldn't understand why many meditators and the like saw little value in them. That changed when I met who someone who really explained to me that if you rely on psychedelics as a miracle cure then you are relying on something outside yourself, hence that means; you can be knocked from having the confidence and faith in yourself to come good without them.
Ecstatic experiences can be very damaging if you allow yourself to feel that your life will never be complete if you cannot reside in the drug fueled transcendence of being under the effects of these substances that are basically just max poweing all your neuro circuits and creating experiences that you are just not going to replicate in daily life. It becomes a merry groud of desiring to live in a state like that all the time.
Still, it's (taking psychedelics) a bit of fun and games either way, just don't get too drawn in by it IMO.

Another thing I'd like to mention is that if you walk into a trip with a particular goal in mind then be prepared to have your ass kicked. Whenever I've done this the substance shows me something entirely different from what I wanted to get out of it at the start and I always en up feeling foolish for going in with my own egoic desires and trying to mold the experience psychedlics grant for my own personal gain.

Psychadelics can be gates for repentance.
Just make sure to be honest and you'll get what you want..
Grievances can be held out at another or yourself as regret..
The person who you are only changes with extension FROM the soul..
There in lies the dilemma.. the soul is old fashioned and erudite.. while the mind is fresh and cultivating anything in it can be a mutual orgasm..
The mind and body must be linked in rythm and harmony.. and in this way does the soul grow pleasent.. and along its new concubine(the mind)

I wonder how many people don't show signs of empathy, but hold incredible empathy towards a cause. Personally, I think something as simple as partaking in cannabis now and then is enough to make you look back on something that didn't feel right with full picture clarity.
At the end of the self-discussion, however, the user needs to know how to put it to rest if the "victim" might not be ready, or deserving of your effectively sincere attempts at repenting in your relationship with them.
Lol, this is how and why I have burned bridges with my entire family, period. Either I say something with incredible respect and am met with disrespect, or I say something disrespectful with their best interest at heart, and watch the situation deteriorate into their self-inflicted madness, which I meet with contempt.
Tough puzzle. Probably why I could die without a struggle, I've acquired complete apathy for what happens next to anyone I've ever loved, including myself. I'm at peace with God. Just waiting for death.
Also, on an unrelated note. I'm better than edit:many ladies at lady bit problems. Try oral magnesium supplements for cervical cramps.
