You should introduce light in all stages of the growth. What tek did you follow? Generally, heating up anything else but your environment ends up badly.

Heating blankets are frowned upon with growing myceliem. Id recommend a space heater to heat up your room instead. This will come in handy for fruiting as well.

You can alternatively build a temperature controlled incubator using an aquarium heater inside a tub of water, then placing a smaller tub inside it that holds your jars.
Your incubation chamber should idle in between 75 and 80 degrees. Higher than that encourages contamination before the mycelium can take hold of the substrate, and lower than that discourages mycelium from growing. When you go into the fruiting chamber, your temperatures will want to be around 70 degrees, probably no higher than 75. Mycelium does not require light to grow. You can set your jars in a dark incubator all day preferably.
Mycelium spores can take up to 2 weeks to germinate, but most see mycelial growth within 5 to 7 days post-inoculation.
