By "Wavy Tips" I Suppose You Mean Wavy Caps As In Psilocybe Cyanescens. P. Cyanescens Does Not Grow Wildy In Texas.
These Don't Look To Be Any Active Sp To Me, Wait For A TI To Chime In.

What Species Are You Referring To? There Is No Mushroom Species Nicknamed "Wavy Tips". I'm With The Program.

If You Are Looking For Psilocybin Mushrooms, The Only Active Species You Might Find In The Woods & Pine Forests Of East Tx Is A Gymnopilus Sp.
Here Is A List Of Actives (Psilocybin Containing Mushrooms) That Grow In Texas.
Texas Gymnopilus aeruginosus Gymnopilus junonius Gymnopilus luteofolius Gymnopilus luteoviridis Panaeolus cyanescens Panaeolus cinctulus Pluteus sp. (link) Psilocybe caerulescens (link) Psilocybe cubensis
Psilocybe Cubensis & Panaeolus Cyanescens Are The 2 Most Commonly Found Actives In Texas.

No Prob, You Should Read Up On Psilocybe Cubensis. They Grow On Cow & Horse Dung In Pastures.
They Have A Dark Purplish/Brown Spore Print & Bruise A Blueish/Greenish Color Where Injured. I Have A Psilocybe Cubensis Gallery As Well As Some Other Shroomerites.
There Are Also Some Good Pictures On The Shroomery's Psilocybe Cubensis Page. Good Luck
