There are lots of good audible books. Librivox has a lot of free public domain books.

Imperial Twilight, the opium war and the end of china’s last golden age by Stephen R. Platt
Good for those who are interested in history and Chinese history, and also those who want to understand the dynamics between trade and politics today.
Fun read accounting various players perspectives as they make their way into a closed empire and their attempts to open it, and the long term consequences it did sow.
Or if you want a science fiction instead try
Dune by, Frank Herbert. I figure there must be some members here who love it as much as I. Won’t even spoil you with a review or synopsis. Just check it out if your interested. Psychedelic Siddhis abound and geo planetary politics and conspiracies and royal families incoming,

I'd recommend The Sword of Truth.
A Song of Ice and Fire is good but incomplete and you'll have to listen to it a couple times to really know wtf is going on. But I kinda like that. Not just that I catch something new every time, I also grasp new plot lines.

Knowing the show helps you alot in keeping up.
The prequel books are also pretty good and easier to keep track of. I quite liked the book on Targyaen history book Fire & Blood which I believe HBO is using for the prequel series they're making.
If there's anyone that's taken Tolkien style world building to heart its George R R Martin. Plus dragons and shit.

Heloooo, first post. I just finished Midnight Son. It's about Native American spirits and murder. It's really good.

Well it's nonfiction so far as what is in the book is what the subject of the book told the police happened. Whether he saw Iñupiaq spirits or not, I'll leave to you to decide!
Oh! And I don't want to ruin it for you but the author retraces the killer's steps in real life for the book and has some strange experiences too. I've often thought that the rules are probably different out in the wild, where evil spirits can taunt you without revealing themselves to the world at large. Then later when or if you make it out, who believes you?

Damnit, that sounds good. I’m sold, but do you recommend audio book or text?
Ever seen the show called The Horror(season1) or Twin Peaks? It’s in the ball park. Love that ish.
Peace.

It's an Audible Original, so I don't think you can get it in print tbh. Also, it's done in the style of This American Life on NPR so you'd lose a lot in print, I think.
I've never seen either of those shows. I don't actually own a TV. It was holding me back. I will not spend an entire Saturday watching my tablet like I would my TV!
