Actually... Oxtail soup is Indonesian cuisine which like bami goreng, ketchup manas, sambal and nasi goreng the Dutch have adopted as their own.

Yeah the dutch adopted lots of things and made them their own. Delftware is a wonderful example where the dutch took something (asian style pottery) and made it their own. Really some beautiful stuff that is very collectible
