Can these cakes be birthed
    #26617736 - 04/21/20 01:00 PM (3 years, 9 months ago)

So I'm new to using the forum so sorry if I'm doing this wrong. Should I birth these cakes. Mushrooms have already started growing at the top but a lot of them aren't even close to colonized at the bottom?

Here are the images

You have some bacteria in there. Birth them, remove uncolonized substrate, dunk & roll.

Definitely birth them now (good luck with those skinny jars) and remove the uncolonized parts.

Use wids mouth half pints next time. Much easier to work with.
