Introducing psilo woodlovers in germany
    #26617651 - 04/21/20 12:20 PM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Greetings. I'm from germany and me and my friends had the idea we'd like to introduce the species azurescens in our local forests permanently, since its currently not to be found. I get the impression that one of the reasons it can be found all over the US is not just that its its natural habitat, but also, because of the high number of psychedelic enthusiasts there, compared to europe, considering that the psychedelic boom in the 60s and the consequently created counterculture that endured sinced today, happened mostly in north america.
What are your opinions and suggestions on this? Is it feasible, how to approach it, link any old relevant threads if you find any.

My plan so far would have been a more or less blind hit and miss strategy using bought and colonized woodchips, creating many different beds at different locations, learning by doing.
Of course this is less than optimal, and a more directed approach, possibly guided by you guys's experience might be better.
In the long run I'd like to experiment with using wood from the forest instead of woodchips and preparing it, to be colonized, e.g soaking it, even though I've heard logs arent ideal, so instead maybe try to go for wet leaves, smaller sticks and such. I should avoid the needlewood forests and go more for the local birch forests for example, or beech.

I also heard, that im some cases a too shady or too wet spot is not to be preferred, over a rather brighter, possibly more grassland like and less foresty spot, can anyone confirm this? In general I heard that cyaneacens arent super common in forests and occur more in cities in mulched areas, nonetheless I'd wanna try the woods, or is this impossible.

Beyond that, no idea, so Im curious for your suggestions.

So I've now stumbled umpon Sporulators ovoid project in switzerland. I see how this strain might be superior, since its friendly to conifer woods, which are also very abundant here where I live.

A question, I read that subaeroginosa and ovoids might be the same thing, can anyone confirm or deny this?

No love? Maybe these folks are some kind of “ist” against Germany and all her peoples  :aweshit:

Lol...maybe no one knows nothin about nothin with these. I love the idea. I think there is a wood lover thread around here somewhere and I know the ovoid hunters also take mycelium and stem butts to spread the patches all around. There are some ovoid threads in the hunting and ID forum where someone might point you in the right direction.

I hope you’re successful man, spread the love! Josh filler is a badass and he’s from Germany, so you must be aiight
