Habitat: Found growing out of buried wood alongside a trail in the floodplains along the Potomac River in Virginia. It has been wet and cool lately, been killing it on the morels the last few days if that helps to indicate conditions.
Gills: Gills are dark and seem to be adnexed, but I’m relatively new so see the attached pictures
Stem: Thin, 1-3 inches tall, hollow, and somewhat fibrous
Cap: Some were caramel colored while wet but look more cream colored now. Ranging from half an inch to 3 inches across. Nipple present on the younger specimens, older ones have flattened on top and are wavy around the margins
Spore print color: Dark chocolate brown, see pictures
Bruising: I’m seeing some bluing on the caps and some of the stems, perhaps more obviously on the caps. The stems that I removed to take spore prints have dried to be very dark and hard to differentiate bluing from browning. See pictures
Other information: Spore print lacks any hint of purple (in my opinion) which concerned me and led me to make my first post here. Some of the mushrooms were very firmly attached at the base and pulled a clump of mycelium out with them. Also, I saw that a few other people have had similar concerns but I still wasn’t 100% confident after going through their threads, so just wanted to look for a few more experienced opinions.

Most of them are Ovoids, not sure on all of them though, that big one in the second picture from the left where the cap is cut in half looks a bit iffy to me, as well as a couple where the caps aren't very nipply..I'd throw out any that don't obviously blue just to be safe though. Also always wait for a trusted identifier for actual verification.

They all look like ovoids to me, more organized pictures would be nice though

Thanks for the replies! Sorry for the pile I’ll take my time to organize them in the future, only fair since I’m asking others to take their time to help me.
