Surface conditions??
    #26617283 - 04/21/20 09:52 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

First tub 1 inch holes covered by micropore tape. Coir gypsum vermiculite. Fruiting for a week. Little white dots specks popping up everywhere (hope they are hyphal) My question is this. My surface to me, looks dry. No little condesation drops on it, however, I was a tad heavy on field capacity, my hygrometer reads 99%, constant condensation on walls. I am torn between misting and not. I understand there is no 100% accurate info in this hobby.  Take a look at the pic and let me know what you think. Also the crack is from moving the tub and the bottom flexing. Been there since it colonized. Thanks

looks a bit on the dry side, I can see it getting ready to throw fruits so i'd pack those holes with polyfil and start misting it.

Dont have polyfil. I've got a layer of micropore tape on them. Is there any real consensus on ig mmicropore can serve the same function as poly? Thanks

Polyfil allows for better airflow tbh

The single layer of Micropore tape works perfectly its all I ever use.
It does look a bit dry, might wanna do a little high altitude misting.
Check out Misting & FAE 👇 for some surface condition pics
