Soil instead of vermiculite and coco coir?
    #26616991 - 04/21/20 07:27 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Hello.
Is it possible to grow cubensis B+ mushrooms without coco coir and vermiculite but with only normal soil for flowers and fertilizer?

I have no idea why it wouldn't work, but people have probably tried and failed.

Just get that brick online.

Probably as long as the PH is correct and you pasteurize it correctly.
I just don't think it will hold much water at field capacity like
coir/verm does.

Potting soil often contains a lot of coir. Do you have the bag you want to use? What does it say on the bag?
