Yellow liquid on fresh agar transfers
    #26616720 - 04/21/20 02:37 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Hey y'all - I recently transferred some agar bits from a 93g PE from one plate to 5 and two days later there looks to be a bit of yellow liquid on the plates, mostly coming from the mycelium - I am guessing metabolites but could be wrong?

Thoughts on this?

Doesn’t look good...gonna say contam you could see if the mycelium grows away from it and take a transfer but I personally would toss those.

That's bacteria. You should try to transfer away from it. Take a few transfers at 9pm on first plate and see if you can isolate away from it.
