Spent Monotub - What to do with it?

So I have a monotub that just went through its third flush, which was only a few fruits - they were HUGE fruits - and I'm wondering if I can perhaps case it with coir to attempt to get a fourth flush? Here's what I plan to do: I boiled some water, added gypsum, and intend on basically burying the old cake with it. Is this a common practice? has there been documentation on it? I'd love some additional advice on this one! THANKS!
This is the tub in question, I know lookin a little ugly, but she's been through three full flushes ranging from 2-3oz dry per flush other than the last which only yielded a little under a dry oz.

I've never heard of this being done before. I would imagine that your grain has given out most of it's nutrition at this point. Worth a try if you have no immediate use for the tub, but I wouldn't bother with it if it's taking up valuable space. There are some threads around about how to make an outdoor bed that would produce something if the climate is right in your area. I have never done this but would like to this summer seeing as I live on a large, private piece of land in a wooded area.

I throw it in a pile out by the tree line at the end of the backyard. I add to the garden soil a little later on or sometimes i give it to family for their garden.

Alright then I'm going to run an experiment, I know I have one more flush coming out of that tub - even if it is really small - I'd like to maximize the yield. The tub isn't taking up any valuable space and normally Shevanel I would just toss it into dirt outside and allow it to fruit there, however I don't have the available land at the moment to attempt it so I'm going to SIMULATE that exact thing. I have added garden soil, coir, verm, and gypsum to a bucket with Boiling water. I will keep this thread updated with how it turns out over the next week to see the possibilities.

Okay so I sanitized some substrate and gave my tub a light coating on the edges and top (by light I mean fully covered but not packed or thick.) I will post results in a few days.

I boiled water and added it to the substrate in a clean bucket. pretty basic. I get confused between sanitized, sterilized, and pasteurized. so meh.
