Cloning fruits from bacteria contamination

I may have a bacteria problem in my sub from the grain and I've got small fruits. I'm going into the second flush now, if I was to clone the biggest fruit would the mycelium from that be okay and fruit decent mushrooms or could it carry the small trait over as it's from a sub that has possible bacteria? I hope that makes sense..

It would not carry the bacteria over. As long as you take from inside the shroom. It’s safe to eat shrooms that come from a contaminated substrate. Just as long as no mold is actually on the shroom.
Every wild mushroom grows in the presence of molds, so it doesn't matter if a cake had contamination. In fact, most molds are harmless to eat as well. Cheese comes to mind as a product most of us eat every day that is made with mold. However, healthy mushrooms are healthy, regardless of what it was sharing a substrate with. RR

Yeah that's makes sense, what I was worried about is that the mushroom would stay small even after being cloned as it's been affected previously. When growing weed and you have a mother plant that was sick with deficiency for example the clones may not always perform at their best compared to a mother plant that's been healthy all its life.
