Hi all,
I've got healthy looking cubes inoculating at the moment and they seem to be doing great, however this isn't my first attempt..
Around six months ago I bought two grow kits with a spore syringe, now being the total noob I am I stupidly opened the jars in order to inject the spores instead of piercing holes in the top..
One of the kits formed mycelium with green mould so I got rid of it straight away, the other one however still hasn't shown any signs of mycelium forming... I'd forgotten about it until today to be honest, it's just been sat in the garage.
My question is, can this kit be used at all or should I just toss it out? I injected the spores, closed the lid and still six months on there doesn't seem to be any mycelium/contaminant visible...
