High AF playing this right now. Anyone else an MK arcade fan? First 3/Ultimate 3 are where it's fucking at, dudes.

Thoughts? Memories?

I still remember the day I discovered MKII was a thing.  I was over my friend's house in 4th grade and out of nowhere he goes, "Oh yeah my brother got Mortal Kombat II yesterday."  I'm like, "WHAT?!"

We went upstairs and I remember being in a state of awe as I saw how awesome it looked and the first Fatality I ever saw was Liu Kang's dragon.  I didn't even know MKI had fatalities at this point.

The arcade was always too hard for me and bigger kids always hogged the machines.

And Reptile is definitely my favorite character. :awebig:

The first MK game I ever played was MKII arcade, in a local sub shop, summer 1994. Bugged the shit out of my mom for a quarter and got my ass handed to me by Jax. First memory is getting uppercutted into The Dead Pool. That floating skeleton haunted the SHIT out of my dreams for years!

I remember some video game mag showing fake fatalities, and one of them was on the dead pool.  Instead of being uppercut into the acid, you were uppercut onto the chains with hooks on them and pulled across the stage.

My friends and I were always spreading rumors of Super fatalities, too.

I've been reliving my gaming days playing the new iterations of Doom (2016 version + Doom Eternal).

I must say, computer games have come a hell of a long way in the twenty years since I stopped playing them!!

MKII was definitely a favorite back when I was fifteen though. I liked the robot guy who could lob bombs from his chest.

Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

LOL. Well, it was twenty years ago, so I guess I can forgive myself for missing an I.

Actually, just go ahead and perform a fatality on me now.

FINISH HIM!!!
