Cakes or Casing?
    #2661313 - 05/10/04 08:30 PM (20 years, 8 months ago)

I was just wondering how much better casing is than just fruiting the cakes? I have 12 jars almost ready and I was considering casing. How much more will I get with casing? I know this is an arbitrary question... but any input would be helpful.

I know this is probably been asked a million times, but I could not find any helpful information... so if anyone know of any articles on this issue that would be helpful that would be great. Thanks!

Do a search (1 year posts) with the same words as your post "cakes or casing" , your bound to come up with something.

well it depends on the size of your casing, but if your familiar with the process than casing is the way to go,or thats my friends opinion

I would think (in theory) casings would be WAY better because you have more colonization, nutrition, size, etc. But I was just wanting to know if anyone had ever done a test just to see the difference that both way would produce.

Well if its not your first grow then id say go with the casings. But if it is then id say mabey stick to cakes. Ive found that casings tend to be more open to contams than cakes. Atleast thats what ive found anyway ymmv. And yeah casings tend to produce more fruitstahn cakes but agian ymmv anyway good luck and have fun man.
