confused about chaga extract ratio

So, I went out and harvested some chaga and I want to make an extract so I can put it into some food, because for whatever reason I just don't like the idea of having to drink shots of tea everyday...but I still want the benefits.
So, from what I understand the chaga is ground into a powder, put into a glass jar in a 10:1 ratio 10 parts chaga 1 part alcohol. Left for 4 weeks. And then the alcohol is strained into a saucepan with an equal amount of water added. This is simmered and collected. The chaga from the jar is simmered and that liquid is added to the other collected liquid and this is the extract.
So, my confusion lies in the dosage. I'm sure the math is just going over my head and I am going to feel stupid when I figure it out but how do I know how many grams of powder are in each, lets say, tablespoon of liquid extract?
is there a reasonable method of making a dry extract from home?
any help appreciated, thanks!

Are you sure you mean 10 parts chaga to 1 part alcohol? That's not even going to be wet enough to strain anything out. You may want to re-check your method...
my signature is a good place to start
Dosage is up to you really, there is no 'set amount' to take. Everyone you read will tell you something different.
Not sure what you mean by a dry extract. Myceliated grain? Don't bother if you have chaga itself, just use it.

I just saw 10:1 in a recipe somewhere, i thought the same thing about it being too dry. Another recipe said fill a gallon glass jar with powder and leave 2 inches for alcohol, that too seems too dry.
from everything I have read it seems a lot of people agree with 3.6 grams being the max daily dose for chaga.
by dry extract I mean a powdered extract. I figure it would be easier to sprinkle in some dry extract powder in a food recipe than add multiple spoonfuls of liquid extract.
How much chaga do you usually use? and what ratio chaga to alcohol?

As far as I know there is no maximum dosage for Chaga. I use what I can afford to based on how much extract I have. What a strangely specific number 3.6 grams, was that based on anything in particular? I'm curious.

All that is covered in the write up I did if you want to check it out, the link is in my signature
