Is this ready for fruiting conditions.
    #26610031 - 04/18/20 10:03 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Fist monotub. Spawned Rye into coir/gypsum/vermiculite/(fine is all I could find).Covered with foil and has been colonizing for 2 weeks. I checked on it about 5 days ago and from then till now really no change in the top appearance of mycelium. The surface looks a tad dry, did field capacity at spawn and there are the tiniest little droplets on the surface. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey welcome to shroomery. Yes it's time for fruiting conditions. I start mine right away (with a casing).

You can give it a light mist but don't over do it, it looks pretty spot on (not too dry).

Good luck. You ready to take prints or clones or anything?

If you're in a hurry, might have to find out slow
That it's one thing to try and another to fly
You get there quicker just a step at a time
It's one thing to bark, another to bite
The show ain't over till you pack up at night

Thanks for the response. First I am just hoping for a successful grow, IF that does happen I do plan on taking some prints from the best growth. This whole process has been maddening. Trying to find consistent information regarding anything has proved troubling.

Yeah definitely ready, looks like it’s got a few knots already too.

I bet you mist it and give it air and you’ll have pins in two days.

Most people are skipping spawn runs and starting fruiting right away now.
