Can this plate be saved?
    #26608481 - 04/17/20 04:03 PM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Greetings. Some time ago I scraped spores from a dried cap in order to save a Thai variety that I very much enjoy. I had to neglect the hobby for some time and I came back to this plate, which is my last Evidently I need to transfer away and I was wandering which section do you think could be best for transferring away, if any.

Thanks for your input. I haven't been at this for long so advice is always helpful.

I would take it from the very edge of the plate where it’s growing up the side kinda, above where it says Thai in the second pic.

Might take a couple transfers to get it clean but could be good right away too.

Yea i was gonna say nearly the same thing.

Take at least 3-5 transfers out of random edges/spots and see what happens afterwhile on the new plates.

Thanks, I'll try that. I'll try to post the results later.

Hi there. A little update. I made  a  tansfer and this is what I  have now. I reckon the small growth which is separated is prolly mold.
I don't know about the Thai myc growth, I remember it is very tomentose so it might be clean.
I wonder if it is worth it to attempt another transfer, got a limited number of plates atm.
