I know it's controversial to do so but in many ways I think it's also beneficial -- it can at least be a lesson to others.

And how he passed doesn't at all take away from how awesome Worm appeared to be

It’s not disrespectful and will hopefully serve as a warning that no matter how good of a person you are it’s still possible to get caught making a mistake.  You would think we’d been given enough warnings but now we have one more.  It’s important to be safe.

I agree.

The reason I posted it anyway is not because of it being a lesson for other people, it's more so for closure for a lot of people down at WCA. I know it helps me to know what happened. I think not knowing is worse.

I do too, and it's OK. I'm sure he would have wanted that. IDRK, but I did meet him 4 years ago. OMJ was closer to him. He pretty much helped OMJ out of a funk according to OMJ. I met him once too, with BW, they came to my house when we 1st got in and settled.

He was kind of young wasn't he? This is really tragic. I rarely interacted with him, if at all. But I definitely remember him. Very active member. Those fucking opiates, man.

Ya that's why I asked I can't stand having to sit around and guess when people die especially when people try to keep it a secret and everyone else is just left in the dark wondering what happened. If I were to die I wouldn't want anyone left wondering what happened.

I'll miss his posts, he also seemed like the type of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, just from my internet interactions with him you could tell he was a good man.  RIP you will be missed.

I wouldn’t be living in Colorado right now if it wasn’t for Worm helping me come out here and find a place.. I would’ve never got out of PA, if not for him I would probably be dead right now myself

There’s just so much stuff he did for me over the years since I first got out here.. he spotted me money when I was broke more times than I can even remember, he picked me up when my bike broke down and I was stranded in Buena Vista, he gave me a place to stay for free and let me make payments on the truck I bought from him (that I am now never going to sell for any amount of money), he introduced me to tons of cool people out here one of whom I’m now living with so in a lot of ways he’s still helping me even in death..

I don’t think I’ll ever meet another soul as kind and generous as Big Worm was... he had a heart of gold and didn’t deserve to be taken away from the world this way and now I’ll never sell the truck I bought from him til the day I die because now it’s all I have to remember him by..

I’m about to go out to the stupa to spin the prayer wheel and pay my respects.. I want you guys to know I love you all from the bottom of my heart, even if I don’t post here much anymore you all still mean the world to me and I’m 100% sure Big Worm felt the same way, you guys were like family to him and I don’t think he would want us to be sad, he would want us to carry on and never forget what a great friend he was.

I love you Worm, I’ll see you again someday:heart:

Nooooooooooooooooooo Big Worm. Dont Leave Us

I will NEVER forget you Big Worm and your pure generosity to lend me money for Star Wars The Last Jedi. I paid him back by the way.

One of the most kind, most thoughtful people Ive ever known and an instant friend Ive never met in real life. I really wanted to meet him too. Now its too late

In Loving Memory of Big Worm, I dedicate these songs:

R.I.P. Big Worm. You were taken too soon. :nonono:

I got the text last night from his friend who had his phone and I thought it was some kind of prank at first.

Dude had such a good heart and was such a solid person.
He came down to Texas one time on tour with a homie, and we chilled when he came through Dallas.
His homie that was playing the concerts had us both come out on stage and toss shirts into the crowd when one of the beats dropped. Afterwards I rolled up some fatties and we blazed down heavy in my truck behind the venue.

We had recently been talking about traveling together once quarantine was up too. He'd never been to europe so I was planning to show him around the parts I'd been to and party it up like kings.

The dude had just gotten a flowhood too and I was giving him tips to getting started in the hobby. Even sent him a few plates of my better cultures.

He had so much planned for life, and now all that is gone.

Oh yeah, when I was in Amsterdam the dude sent me 200euro to bang the hottest hooker I could find.
And I did. It was this gorgeous girl from Omsk.

If that's not a true friend, then I don't want to know what is.

Man he seemed like a really good dude. He recently saw I was curious about cbd and not only offered me a free sample but also was taking his time to explaining and breaking down the process and effects.

No reason. We were always cool with each other but he didn't really know me. Just wanted to do something nice.

Seems to be a defining characteristic.

I'm so sad to lose another good one and am sorry for you that had the apparent pleasure of knowing him personally.
