Did I mix substrate too soon?

Hey! I've been floating around the forum for a month or so since I've started my amateur mycology hobby, and I'm proud to get to the point where I finally need to ask for some actual help.
I'm doin' them fancy all-in-one bags, I've got two goin', and my question pertains to my first bag (happens to be a 5-pound coir bag).
My question is about whether I mixed my grain with the substrate too soon. It wasn't on purpose, but I mixed my grain with my substrate before I had a large majority of colonization. If I remember correctly, it was at least a majority, but not by much.
Since then, I'm still getting rhizo's throughout what appears to be most of the substrate, but I'm not sure if it's stalling out or not.
My main question is: Even if I may have jumped the gun a little, is the mycelium likely to do an ok job at colonizing the substrate, even if it takes a minute or two, or is there a chance I made its job a little too hard?
Thank you for any help and sorry for the bother!

You're probably fine. Everything should[1] be sterile in that bag anyways. You might just have to wait a little longer.
[1]Doesn't mean it's always true

Dope. Dope. Dope.
And yeah, I'm aware of all the legal-eze that comes with advice-giving.
I wasn't initially concerned with keeping a grow log or anything, but I think I'll start and maybe someday I'll share my results with errbody.
Thanks again.

Gonna need pictures to say for sure but sounds like it’s ok so far.

K, I'm tryin' to upload some pics, hopefully this works. I haven't done oldschool forum posting like this in a dick-ton of years so I don't know if I did this right, but we'll see.
Anyway, one of the things I'm noticing is I have a lot of rhizo goin' on, but I don't see a lot of fluff except for a few small dots and patches at the surface where the breathy-hole is. I couldn't get a good pic of the surface since the bag itself is milky from when I mixed it and got the myc all over it, so pics weren't doing well.
When I broke up the grain, it was very solid white and healthy looking, so I'm assuming it's ok, but fuck if I know.
Also, just to satiate curiosity, we've got Burmas goin' on in here.

Thanks again!

Alright, so I've modified my strategy a little, and I'm getting good results. I've started leaving the closet that my cakes are in open, after reading about allowing for indirect sunlight and whatnot (I had originally been keeping them in a complete darkness with a heater), and my colonization issue has been looking pretty good.
In the last couple days since I've been allowing sunlight, I've also been rotating the cake to allow for each side to get some sunlight hours, and the colonization has been speeding up considerably.
I now have one question: After all the rhizos have done their thing and completely colonized the cake, am I supposed to start seeing an increase in the density of tomentose mycelium?
I don't want to think that once the rhizos have gotten everywhere that the process is finished, but I also don't know if I'm supposed to wait for more tomentose growth or if waiting too long will be any sort of detrimental.
Whuh I do?

Dunt worry about tom or riz growth. Also I wouldn't waste time shuffling cakes around. Nice them up, out them somewhere making sure the temps are within the proper range and not swinging wildly... And forget about them for a while. I'm not a cake maker but standard practice is to let them colonize 1 week past apparent full colonization. This is to ensure that the center of the cake is also done. Then birth and fruit in your desired fashion.
