Question regarding re-dosing tea

Hi, Is it effective to dose mushrooms in tea over let's say 30min and then later again if I want to increase the effects? So if I am peaking and I want more will a dose taken at that time increase the peak or prolong it or what? I'm thinking 1.7g + 0.5g possibly, or something along that.

In my experience, once I ingest- and the psilocybin/sin passes the blood brain barrier, any subsequent ingestion will be be in the form of diminishing returns. So I can’t say it won’t add to the overall drug effect or that it won’t add to its duration. But experience has taught me that I either get in one go, or I postpone any further attempt till my next fungal ingestion (1-3 months in my case, but that amount of time is by no means necessary- it’s simply preference) because the quality of redosing isn’t worth it to me. Wait for others to chime in.

If I redose during a trip, the subsequent dose must be equal to or greater than the original dose.
An equal dose will increase duration and strength slightly. A higher dose will increase duration and strength moderately.
If my subsequent dose is lower than my first dose, I feel no added duration or strength. Just a waste at that point.
But everyone is different so experiment for yourself.

Pretty much this^.
You'll have to work with tea a bit to find out what works for you.
When I dose with tea I usually start with about 1 gram of cyans or allenii (which is equal to about 3-grams of average cubensis)...then around 90 to 120 minutes after dosing, as soon as I feel that first dose has "leveled out" I'll dose/drink another 1g to 1.5g (not coming down, but the point where I am no longer coming up, where things have leveled out and the point where I am "cruising at altitude")...
...then after another hour or two I'll drink more, and more, and so on. What I do, I don't consider "re-dosing" because I'm not waiting until I'm coming down to take another dose, I call it "dosing-up" because I just continue to drink more and more tea through out a trip/over the course of several hours.
When working with tea, I usually just brew up a lot at once, far more than I plan on dosing initially...and then I just continue to dose up and drink more & more of it over the course of 5 to 8 to 10+ hours. Anything left over will go into the freezer, but I rarely have left over tea lol.
Most of the time I never get as "far out" or peak as intensely as I do with the first dose, if I keep dosing up more it mostly just keeps the trip going for a while....but IME it is still possible to take a big drink/dose of the tea 3+ hours after the first one and have a whole 'nother "peak" that is more intense than the first.
You'll just have to work with the tea a bit and find out what works for you and what you're looking for....I enjoy tea, and re-dosing or "dosing up" is very effective with tea since it goes into one's system so rapidly, re-dosing with tea is far more effective than re-dosing by eating them.

Interesting stuff, OM, think I’m going to have to experiment a little with that

Funny you mention this, because I was actually thinking of what it would be like to dose throughout several hours until satisfied, kind of like drinking beer or smoking weed. But I am not experienced with mushrooms so maybe in the future I will be doing this too if I enjoy the experience and want to trip through the day or evening.
