Thanks for all the input guys, I'm just an OCD freak and it was bugging me. I noticed it does disappear when you wrap them with parafilm. For not I've put these back in the original bag, all done infront of the hood.

I have my agar petris in zip lock bags in a cupboard. Do you think condensation will evaporate over time? Would it help to take them out of the zip locks? I mostly keep them there as an extra step of cleanliness.

When I've put parafilm on the and they've been on the shelf the condensation does go. I wouldnt take them out into open air unless they've got breathable tape. Petri dishes are vented so contams would get in there unless you infron of a hood or you have tape over them

As long as the lids are facing upwards, the risks are minimal. Contams tend to fall down. Unless you're unlucky, they won't get pushed upwards and below the lid.

I've got them saran wrapped. I'll try taking half of my plates out of the bag and leave the other half to see if I will notice a difference!
