Plants that produce a lot of oxygen
    #26603311 - 04/15/20 03:43 PM (3 years, 9 months ago)

I am sleeping like shit in high elevation lately, and I want to try increasing the amount of oxygen in my bedroom. What are some plants capable of producing a lot of oxygen that are relatively easy to care for?

Areca Palms, Snake Plant, Money Plants, Gerbera Daisies, Dracaenas, Philodendrons, Weeping Figs, Spider Plants, Golden Pothos, all produce oxygen and purify the air

Common ivy

tho the NASA research that is supposed to back that up is iirc quite flawed - i mean, at least the wrong conclusions were drawn about some abilities to purify the air.

Algae is what gives earth 80% of its daily O2. Some people grow it in fishtanks for food.
