Nah, it's like fighting a ghost. If it appears while fruits are growing then they have a chance at reaching maturity before the mold hinders further progress. But to have it sporulating before the pinset means low chances of being able to salvage anything from that grow. Not even all the grains have recovered myc on them which means it's pretty badly contaminated.

Im not trying to be a douche but I've seen you post a few "Contam:is my sub ok?" threads here recently and iirc the other day about spawn and i just want to say, you might want to go back to the drawing board and tighten up your op a little.

Spend some more time going over the teks youre using. If you need help then perhaps you could try making a thread outlining your methods and maybe you can get some help troubleshooting the reasons why youre having so many issues.

I dont wanna beat trich and i cant tell you how to beat it. I want to avoid it.

I wanna see you growing baskets of mushrooms not wasting your time and money. You feel me?

Weird first post I made about contamination as my tubs are just coming around, I ask about LC so I’m normally not posting about sub.

I use a lot of LC, why do you ask?

You say my way? Youre using millet now?

In the sub pic here it appears to be oats? Poorly prepped oats too judging by the state of that tub.

Look, im not trying to call you out. Im just seeing some trouble here and just trying to get more info about what it is youre doing. That tub is gross.

I just switch from oats to millet so you are correct. Regarding LC I have old post out there on condition on 7 LC jars, hoping get trained eyes tell me what I got and if magnetic stiring is necessary and best way preserve for a couple months? Can I pm you some pics of the LC?

The only way to truly test lc is to put it to grain or preferably agar and see if it runs clean.

Lc can ride the shelf for quite a long time but myc stalls best by refrigeration.

Throwing money at a magnetic stir plate isnt going to preserve lc for future use. While a stir plate is nice to have a glass shard and an occasional swirl is all you need tbh.

How is your millet progressing?

I just knock up 50bags with grain slurry, have one where colonization has already start after 2 days, I’ll put LC to agar than. Worried about tubs though not sure if blobs or contamination?
