For real, me too. I have been self quarantined pretty hardcore since March 18. Almost one month now. I have no problem doing a couple more if it means I avoid the virus. I ain't got time for that.
It's hard to say how this compares to Spanish flu since this is still in the early stages. This has the potential to be worse than Spanish flu.
And yea... that last part I am a bit concerned about because I've been seeing a lot of talk about people's lungs not fully recovering after "beating" the COVID19.

Try taking L-Argenine or L-Citrulline daily for added blood flow to the lungs. It may help prevent damage during infection.

I contracted it about 4 weeks ago I think? Let me look at a calandar probably about 3 weeks ago, maybe 3-4 weeks ago, factoring incubation time? could be between 3-6 weeks?
The sensation reminds me of pneumonia but more mild, like you know the gurgling in ur lungs when you have bad pneumonia? Sometimes I feel a faint gurgling. But I mean faint faint, and its not really a gurgle it just reminds me of it. Not an easy thing to describe.
Other than that I feel mostly normal, maybe I get out of breath a little quicker? Its hard to say.

You can try to avoid the virus, but more than likely it will always be around, and seasonal, mutating, but most likely mutating to be less deadly and more contagious.

It seems like this virus takes about a month to run its main course, so hopefully that feeling you speak of goes away pretty soon. I've never had pneumonia so can't relate.

This virus will most likely become a childhood disease not a seasonal one. Without a vaccine nearly every human will get it eventually

That is like saying the flu will be a childhood disease, this virus mutates 50% slower than the flu, at least so far, but its highly infectious, more infectious than the flu.

I had this shit last year at this time. Started as achy fever, turned into a cold that lasted about 5 days, went away for 2 days then came back in the lungs for about 6 weeks. Gurguling & whistling lungs. I smoked my cigs through the whole time and took shit-tons of antioxidants, like 10 grams of vitamin C per day.
It was uncomfortable, but I'm not a whiny bitch, either.

its not likely that you had Covid-19 a year ago, unless you eat bat soup or work at the Wuhan Bio research lab of infectious disease.

Just because a virus mutates doesn’t mean the original virus stops existing. These mutations will have little effect on immunity. This is not an influenza virus. Coronaviruses do not tend to mutate much even over millennia. The question is how long the immunity lasts. The coronaviruses that cause colds are essentially unchanged since introduction into the human population.

Lol no you didn’t. The virus did not exist in the human population a year ago. Or six months ago. 🤦♂️
You’re likely just an incredibly unhealthy person who got the flu. covid would have killed you.

"The Harvard team's computer simulation, which was published in a paper in the journal Science, assumed that COVID-19 will become seasonal, like closely related coronaviruses that cause the common cold, with higher transmission rates in colder months."
You know that ConaViruses are common colds right? You have caught Corona Viruses multiple times in your life, just not this new Sars strain.

But they don’t mutate. The cold viruses don’t mutate. They simply do not impart long term immunity. That is a very different mechanism than influenza.
The coronaviruses that cause colds also do not cause a strong immune response. That is not the case with covid. I predict it will become a childhood illness

It's a fucking RNA virus lol stop having opinions about stuff you know nothing about. Why would someone so smooth brained think they know stuff?
"RNA viruses, like the flu and measles, are more prone to changes and mutations compared with DNA viruses, such as herpes, smallpox, and human papillomavirus (HPV)."
