Does anyone have recommendations on spray bottles?
I have a mister style for actual substrate misting, what I’m looking for is a bottle for my alcohol, soap solution, etc. Has anyone tried a higher end sprayer that actually lasts a year+ with decent use?
Mine often work for a week or six and then fail. I used to just get a handful of cheapos at a time but I’d like some nice ones if they exist.

I've managed to keep some functional for several years by putting machine oil (3-in-1 type shit) into the plunger thing that the lever pushes and spraying upward so the oil sinks in.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

I just use cheap dollar store ones. They last me a relatively long time. With those pressure bottles, you gotta be careful not to pump them up too much tho.

I have three £1 spray bottles from a shop in the UK, colour coded for their contents and an adjustable cap on the muzzle to change from fine mist to super soaker and everything in between. Unless I sit on one I cant imagine ever needing to replace them. Cheap and cheerful.

Thanks everyone. I’ll pick up a few of those named and try oiling the plunger on some old ones.

I had one like the one on the right that jsut broke after six months. The new one I got from Walmart in the cleaning section has a much finer mist though so I’m glad. The heavy duty one I had to adjust exactly right or it was like a squirt gun.
Does anybody else ever accidentally cut up their hands while misting?
Idk how I do it but once in a while my finger or thumb will get raked by the handle and it takes a little layer of skin off lol.

I have a few just like the one on the right. One for iso, one for bleach solution and one for water misting. If you let them get too empty, they tend to wear out prematurely. Perhaps the air getting pumped dries something out, not too sure. All I know is now that I refill them once they get to a third full or so, they seem to last a lot longer. They are a couple years old now and I use a half gallon of iso per week. Probably the same for misting water.

For alcohol I'm a big fan of the squeeze bottles that labs use. Nice and controlled stream, I went through a lot less ISO after getting one.

Oh werd? Maybe I’ll try one of those just for alcohol. It probably feels pretty cool to use too which adds potency to grows. Somewhere in the 8% range.

I use one intended for hair and it works great. Super fine mist and nice consistent spray. It doesn't hold a lot of water but thats about the only downside.
Hardware store branded spray bottles for ISO and anything else. Seem to be holding up after a couple years still.

(looks like I misread and you have water covered)

It’s all good pure. I was mostly looking for name brands of spray bottles known to hold up. Maybe I’ve just gotten really unlucky in the cheap ones I’ve used. But there have been some tips in here for extending the life so I’ll see what I can do.

These are my favorite. Work for both Cultivation and tattoo work!
