Habitat:

Found at the treeline where grass meets deciduous forest by a dried riverbed. In Marlborough, New Zealand
Gills:
Yellow then black after picking (pores)
Stem:
5cm long, 1cm diameter Cap 10cm diameter.
Spore print color: Not possible in current situation
Bruising: Bruised black
Other information: Bruised very dark after picking so wondering if active?

Looks To Be A Boletus Sp. To My Knowledge There Are No Known Active Boletes.

Yeah, There's Been Reports Of Hallucinogenic Boletes, Such As Boletus Manicus, But The Concentration Of The Substances In The Mushroom Are Too Low For Chemical Analysis & Identification.
