When I flew from LA to Tokyo the sun never set. Is that what you mean?

Yes man I love sunsets and sunrises. That's like one of the main things I tell people.
When they ask.

Definitely counts even if accidental
Man, if i had my own airplane, i would Sunset Chase all the time! I know Ive seen many private planes do in my town.
The only real downside of Sunset Chasing in a car is driving home in the dark (dont get lost!).

Took off from LAX one time on 3 hits of 25c as the sun was setting.
Definitely don't regret it but would never do it again save for a private plane experience.
The colors and contrasts of sunset on the Pacific followed by all the southern CA lights had me pretty convinced I was on the wrong flight and we were spacebound.
Luckily I couldn't bring myself to speak the whole flight. Could have been that guy the plane has to turn around or land early for...

Sounds like a hell of a flight! Reminds me of when i made a PF cake tea extraction and drank it before going to the airport at sunset. That was one hell of a trip! A little too intense for an airport but i made it thru alright. I watched the sunset thru the glass of the airport terminal. One of the most colorful sunsets Ive ever seen

Just did some Sunset Chasing today. It was so beautiful. Like a living painting. I even found a cool look out spot at the top a very tall hill. That was a total suprize.
I took some pics too. I will upload later. I wish Big Worm could have saw it. The view was Breathtaking.

The closest chase I give: I hurry down to the cross-street at twilight so I can watch the sunset relatively unobscured. i love sunrise and sunsets - i need to make waking up earlier a priority.

Sunrise watching is incredible as well. Definitely hard to do if youre not a morning person. But if u do it, its sooooo worth it.
