Desktop hepa filter workbox 99.9% success on my jars 2

I have heard so much about desktop hepa filter positive pressure workbox's being trash and not working and being a waste of time but the ones I've made have caused nothing but great success.
I got a 115 qt sterlite tub and heated a knife up and cut 2 arm holes then attached them back on with tape (it dosent have to be pretty it just has to work) then i go to the short side i want the filter attached to and cut about a 5 inch hole that goes along most of the side.
I then took a Turkey oven bag and cut a hole on the bottom side of the bag if it was laying flat then attached that to the output from the hepa filter and attached the already open end of the bag to the long hole. That's all it is I have had success on 99.9% of all of my jars I have made in my life many hundreds of jars and I've only had 2 contams ever that weren't sponsor spore problem caused.
I set the fan on the highest speed and let it flush out for 30 min after I wipe it down with alcohol and put all my equipment in. I personally would not be able to work without this as I have a pretty old house with lots of mold spores around and this allows me to work so for anyone who has doubted they work here are some jars I have made within the last week all but 4 are g2g from ms and the others some agar cultures I'm fooling around with. Here's some jars and the contraption itself

And here is a mini mono I made last month with jars made in my sterile workbox

have you ever left an agar plate open for a few minutes in the box to see just how effective your contraption is?

Yeah I have left an open agar dish for 3 hours after pouring plates to see efficiency of the filter and no contams.

that is hilarious and awesome.
How much air does that unit move? Looks like this really weak hepa i used to have. kind of a hard thing to express in text i know. I guess the ol lighter test if nothing else.

you can get equal(if not better) results just using a sab without the bag and extra $$ on whatever filter fan combo.

I have tried a sab they are much less efficient in my case mabey I'm just too stoned and not cautious enough in a sab but the positive sterile pressure helps blow off any spores on my hands when they enter. Also not sure how much air it moves I'll see if I can find out a lighter definitely won't stay light by it by any means I used to use a 66 at tub but decided to see if the pressure was enough to run a 115 cleanly and it was.

I make my agar soft it didn't dry out at all. I have also left them open for 10+ minutes and still nothing and the plate that I left for 3 hours just for shits I tossed on some spores and they germinated fine so don't be so damn biased all the time and just assume mabey you could ask if it was dried out before acting like I'm a dipshit . It's not 100° in the fucking room I worked in the agar didn't just dry up it was plenty viable and still grew mycelium fine. Don't come in all salty and biased because you talked shit on me saying I used one of these in the past saying the faulty syringe I used that the vendor actually admitted was faulty was my fault when this works fine for me. I'm simply just posting this here incase someone else needs this to work as I do so don't be all rude for nothing because I'm posting what gives me good success that's what the threads are for.

Also I make pretty thick plates that don't dry up as easy i didn't intentionally leave the plate open for 3 hours i just had some pressing matters come up and i forgot to close the plate i was about to inoculate and came back and realized it was still open and still wet enough to use so I inoculated it and it worked as all the other plates did fine without a contam

I may have to try this out. I always liked the idea of a shmuv but I don't have a table to use it on, and setting up a table and taping the bag up and all that shit just seemed too time prohibitive. This might be just right. Do you assume the direction of the air to be the origin point of the air at the inlet, or outward from the arm holes, or some curved path between. I'd be curious to know a bit more about your sterile technique within it.
Also hey Psilosopherr
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...
