what happens when you mist from a top? do the beads form or does it just get absorbed?

Seemingly absorbed. I mist across it from one of the sides with the lid slightly cracked. I’m usually doing 8-10 sprays from a standard mist bottle.

Same thing is going with my grow, i had pretty good first flush with notebook surface condition on first flush. After harvest i did some bottom watering on harvest day and havy misting top once in next 3 days.. my second flush started few days ago and i cant get mositure to build up on surface like on first flush but idc since everthing looks happy and i know i replaced most of the water
