Looks like slim catchings. I would throw em back and get something meatier.

Oh yes let me be up front and politically correct right away. Those fish can potentially pass on covid-19. Make sure you cook them extra well done

See how from the other direction that can be kind of annoying? Yes but anyway if you do not pay attention I am going to post constant death stat updates to scare you into being careful :smirk:

Glad you had fun today

I'd say Occam's razor more than likely applies if you're considering that there is anyone in power right now intelligent enough to string together a conspiracy involving the federal forest service, national park service, and every single individual state county and town/city park and state forest departments and conservation committees. There are thousands of people with virtually no power and status who would need to be complicit in the conspiracy for it to work.

In reality, as I already said many of the people who dedicate their life to the hiking community and trail building/maintenance (along with rescue crews, game wardens, park rangers) are either in full support of the closures or in many cases actually led the charge and wrote and petitioned their governments to shut things down in the first place.

Didn't the federal guidelines list gun stores as essential? And isn't it a state, and sometimes even a county/sheriff decision at this point?

Idk how that's really relevant to the thread though. All I'm saying is that the message from the people that actually build and maintain the trails we want to hike on, as well as those who have to rescue people and now risk their own health/exposure when things inevitably go wrong, is "Keep it small, keep it local, come back later."

While I don't think the entire thing is a shame I do think the vultures will
capitalize on any ability to seize power and not give it up ever.
All these new regulations and tracking are now the norm and will be till the collapse of the current society.

Don't know about everyone else but the at support is partly due to a desire to give the trail a break from constant foot traffic.

The maintenance volunteers probably appreciate the break too.

I'm sure it's a mixed bag for towns like Damascus. On one hand there will be extremely limited spread of the virus into those small towns. On the other hand that's gotta hurt their economy.

But ya know everyone's economy hurts right now.

where the hell has FEMA been this whole time? haven't we been in a national emergency for a while? why haven't they told anyone to beready.gov ?
what happened to all those flyers about basic supplies and

"warning: the federal government has determined that your community is at risk of the following catastrophes:
-natural disasters
- civil disturbance
-foreign invasion
-terrorist attacks
- et cetera

??? should have taken pictures

haven't heard anything from them this whole time

Question:
Quote:

It’s Saturday night and you’re at home with your family watching TV. A news alert announces a radiation emergency in your city. It could be an overturned truck hauling radioactive material, a nuclear power plant accident, or a “dirty bomb,” but reports are that large amounts of radiation have been released. What should you do?

Stay inside should be an option. This is suppose to be a free nation. They can't just shut every fucking thing down.
