Found some cool looking shrooms, anyone know what they are?

Habitat:
Where does it grow?  Grassy woods, OK USA. Grows in soil

Gills:
Color,yellowish with gills

Stem thick white



Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

You have morels, stereum and some others,  I will wait for the pictures to be posted.

#s 1&2 are the same mushroom and #s 3&4 are of another mushroom

From what I can see I’d say they look like Russula.

Anything notable about texture?

They yellow one (3&4) is softer and looked a little moist on top.  It's gone now, my guess is wildlife; found it on my land.

The other one is there still it's a bit firmer but its not hard either. Here a couple pic from today (same shroom as from pics 1&2 above)

Couldn’t say for Oklahoma, but regional field guides are usually pretty good at covering common genus and species in an area. Google might be your best bet there. Otherwise Mushroom Observer and various sites are a wealth of knowledge.

Interesting fact I read in my regional field guide, if you suspect a Russula, a sure way to determine is to throw it at a hard surface and it’ll shatter like safety glass.
