Skinny and "fuzzy feets"

Zup brothers,
I need some advice, My first monotubes have started to grow now. But the mushrooms look skinny and appear to have "fuzzy feets". Is this because of too little FAE? Or too wet substrate? I remember my substate (coir + verm) was more wet than field capacity. Fortunately, they started to grow anyway.
What do you think is the reason they are skinny and have "fuzzy feets"?
And what can I do?
My monotubes has medium-tight polyfill in all 6 holes.

As far as I know, "fuzzy feet" are caused by lack of FAE, which causes the mycelium to "climb" in order to get more fresh air.
It's not harmful, but the mushrooms are telling you they need more fresh air.
However, I'm still very new in this hobby, so I would wait for some more experienced users to answer you.

I have this problem right now as we speak, just lessen the amount of polyfil you're using in your tub and it should increase fae.
From further examination of your pics, indeed lack of FAE is the cause, your ventilating holes seem to be jam packed full of polyfil, and the condensation is a dead giveaway. Its okay to have condensation on your tub, however too much condensation is an indicator of improper FAE.

Thanks brothers! And Mushhead you're probably right. I'll lessen the polyfill and hope it helps.

They dont look skinny due to highly restricted fae to me but if your sub is a little wet they will grow smaller. The fuzzy feet is def indicative of high humidity. You could stand to increase fae some.

Thanks shevanel. I loosened the polyfill a little.
How many grams of fresh do you think I will be able to harvest from this one?

Too early to tell but if the early bloomers are all youre getting and this was a "guess how many jelly beans" game then id say 10g dry lol
All kidding aside i have no clue. Pinset is pretty weak but time and increased fae should help that afterwhile.
More air should yield more pins. Looks damp af in there

Ye.. Also in addition to FAE, I know that my coco coir was really wet, much wetter than field capacity. Water ran down my hand as I squeezed my hand, not just dripping. Does that affect the cultivation/yield a lot?
Another question, does this seem to be enough light?

A.k.a, what would you say is the main reason why your monotubes (as in the picture) grow so full of mushrooms and tight, compared to mine? If you were to give a single reason that made the biggest difference, what would it be? I want those flushes

Yours will man you’ve got a good pinset, they really fill in at the last minute you’ll see.
The pictures in my signature are my best ones out of a lot of grows, except the first pic.
And two of those are clones which tend to do better.
I’ve had plenty of not that great ones too lol.

Also your light should be fine, all mine have been in a room with one window getting indirect light. Occasionally I’ll get a tub that seems to be sensitive and they’ll lean towards the window but most of the time it’s all good.

Man, you inspire me. Thanks so much I ran MS on these, but I am thinking of testing do agar and cloning as well.
I see some of my mushrooms growing faster than others. Should I harvest them before the others when they are just about to open the veil - and let the rest continue to grow thereafter? Or just leave everything until they are all big? What do you think?
Regarding the light, calming to hear, thank you brother

I don't like it when spores drop onto my substrate, it makes it hard to determine the health overall as you cannot see past the dusting of spores. This makes it hard to discern mold and other bacterial contamination. I personally pic them right before the veil pops to prevent spore from being dropped, however it is REALLY nice to have a tub packed full of a mushroom forest so I leave that pleasure for the 4th/5th flush.

Yeah there’s usually a couple ready before most of the rest.
Pull them or leave them either way. Or cut the caps off if they’re in a cluster that’s not finished yet but you don’t want spores.

I would say those fruits looks good, maybe sub is a bit to wet but this doesnt look like fuzzy feet from lack of FAE, some of the myc on bottom is normal for cubes ime

Pins looking good man, Ease up on the water spraying and allow for some FAE until it’s dried from the sides at least especially since your sub was on the wetter side

Cut the caps off and keep the myc undamaged... Why didn't I think of this? I have been chopping off mature fruits at the base which has more than likely caused budding fruits to abort.

Thanks for all your answers my brothers, it helps me tremendously!
Here are pictures from today on my 2 monotubes. What do you think? I have loosened the polyfill and also fanned about twice a day. Do you think they need even more FAE?

This is odd. Now I see that a cap has cracked. And that the other caps look a little dry. Is this what I've done too much FAE? However, there are standing water drops on the substrate..

They look good to me.
You shouldn’t need to fan a mono though just open the holes more if it needs it.
The cracked cap prob is from drying out but they look good overall.
Should be ready to harvest a bunch by now.
