They look good to me.

You shouldn’t need to fan a mono though just open the holes more if it needs it.

The cracked cap prob is from drying out but they look good overall.

Should be ready to harvest a bunch by now.

Thanks bro. Maybe that was the problem, that I overdid it with fanning. Maybe harvest tomorrow then tripping  Maybe I will come back here while I´m tripping and write stuff like hey I love you man thanks for all the tips hehe

This is odd. Now I see that a cap has cracked. And that the other caps look a little dry. Is this what I've done too much FAE? However, there are standing water drops on the substrate..

They look wonderful! Don't fan your monotub, just allow the new ventilation to release the extra moisture naturally.

Hehe thanks for the encouragement bro (: Yes, maybe that was what I was doing wrong, fanning. I´ll let them be just instead like you say.

lol those are good man. That’s actually close to average size for most of the grows ive done.

It took me a while to realize that for some reason shrooms seem to look huge in other peoples pictures.

Has this one already dropped its spores, or have I harvested it in time?

Yeah if the veil is missing it would drop spores, though its not too huge of an issue if a little spore gets dropped. You will often times find it peppering the caps of other fruits because the veil is extremely fragile and you can't always get them all ^_^

I think I read somewhere that if spores drop on the substrate it will not grow a new flush at that place? Is it true? Think I read it on some grow kit instruction before when I was a totally noob and ran grow kits hehehe

Should I try to harvest when the mushroom is like your picture?

Yeah that pic is the perfect time.

I really don’t think spores affect the next flush.

Yeah that veil was being pulled really tight so I popped it off the myc, though it could have opened up a little more. Trust me, i've had spore cover the bottom of a monotub and still get fruits all over the place afterward. Some say it causes the myc to go into a dieback mode, producing hormones and basically wanting to use the newly spawned genetics from the spores (this occurs so they can adapt to their environment but we're growing them indoors without competition usually) the most widely accepted answer is: they only add water weight after the veil breaks and after spore production is in full swing, psychedelic actives production stops however this is mostly speculation.

Yeah I just don’t like open caps unless I’m printing.

Otherwise they take up more room and break into dust in the bags or jars.

I can’t stand the taste so idk but people say spores taste bad too.
