What’s your preferred way to treat a former mold spot?

As happens all too frequently, I just pulled out a small piece of blue mold from my substrate. I used to cover those spots with baking soda and then spray them a little with water, but I’ve heard of people using peroxide too. Neither one of these has really worked for me as other spots of blue mold usually turn up nearby. What are the best ways, your personal preference, to discourage mold from growing after a spot is removed?

You throw the whole thing away. Don't cut out contamination it only spreads it.
Don't grow the contamination in the first place

Op, Im not trying to sound all Mr Clean and what not [we all see our share of contams from time-to-time] but its relatively difficult to grow mold especially if youre doing things properly.
So if youre having to deal with mold on a regular basis then instead of looking for ways to mitigate it i would suggest you take a closer look at your procedures and techniques as there is a definite flaw somewhere in your operation.

Last time folx told me to toss a jar I threw it in a tub with unpasteurized manure instead and got a few ounces out of it anyway, so I’m gonna go ahead and let these tubs grow out. They’re already beginning to fruit...
But I agree. There are definite problems in my operation. I’m having a hard time figuring out where. I can usually colonize clean agar, but of the jars I inoculate with the wedges, almost half of them will become visibly contaminated. I inoculate them in a glovebox that I’ve thoroughly cleaned with 70% alcohol...
Once I get clean looking grain jars, I usually don’t have any problems while my substrate colonizes. It’ll be after I set them to fruit. I cracked the lids a few times to facilitate air exchange , which I wish I hadn’t done. I have doubts about the airflow that gets into my tubs through the Tyvek suit I use to cover the air holes. I should probably use something else?

It's definitely not from cracking your lid for fruiting. It's more likely your agar. Got plate pics?

You shouldn't really use a glove box to noc up the spawn. SAB is way more efficient method for everything.
What are you using as your bulk sub?

I thought it looked pretty sexy. The pic is not from the day I used it but it looked much the same when I did, it just filled the whole plate.

Hmm. I mostly followed the advice from a mushroom bible for my setup, that’s why I ended up making a glovebox. It’s so damn awkward though. I’d be happy to not have to deal with it. So, should I just remove the hose clamps and the gloves and use the same box, just sanitizing my arms or do I need to get sleeves or something.
Bulk sub is 75% manure, 20% verm and 5% gypsum.

Yup ! Use the same box .. I just wash my hands and arms with antibacterial soap.. wear latex gloves and spray my arms and gloves with iso alcohol with a drop of soap. Not familiar with that substrate.. just go with straight coco coir it works great. That’s a lot of manure .... maybe that’s your issues
