Trash what's in the jar, not the jar.
It's still good.

Hard telling. So many thongs could hit a jar.
That's right, it says thongs.
You can always let it go and see what it looks like, as a learning experience.

yea I guess its hard to say what happened. I Tried my best to be sterile and used a sterno on whole needle. sprayed everything down with 70%. The syringe was already gonna expire if it hadnt already as it was on its 3rd month. Took too long to get my PC and grain brag from my refund lol. oh well now to start over again and get a new needle. thanks for the inputs my peeps.
Any good vendors yall recommend?

Not suppose mention vendors here. I try to G2G that mf and see what happens. Does look wet but if it was completely bacterial it would stall out might have some resistance mycelium that might survive in new environment. Was the meddle bought from vendor, They should last long than but if you feel incline do so. Best luck.

unless you're hurting for jars throw some coir on top and top fruit it. you'll probably get a flush or two out of it.
make a print or two from what you get and start in on agar

G2G to them, if itโs bacterial they wonโt colonize but if so you could fruit a mono if their good (or whereever your trying to spawn too.)

Effort shouldn't be wasted on mere chance but effort, your action will provide results or experience either one puts you one up.

oh, you could also just give it a shake test. shake it up to break up all the grain. if itโs healthy it should recover within a few days

I think I see a sporulating mold in the top center of the jar in the first photo. G2G'ing will make your contamination problems worse. I think you could get a clean culture out of those using agar quite easily though.
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

Just choose a few grains that look like they have healthy growth, grab them with flamed tweezers, and drop them on agar. Should get a clean culture within a few xfers. I wouldn't shake it if you're gonna try and fruit it, you're just distributing contams more. I'd be kinda surprised if you get anything either way. Are you out of spores?
