To Dry or Not to Dry?

My friend has some shrooms popping up in his casing that he is planning on consuming this weekend. Unfortunately he got an uneven pinset and some of them will be done before Saturday actually comes around. Is he better off to the let the shrooms just grow for a couple days past maturity? Or should he lay them out on a rack and let them air dry for a couple of days? He doesn't have anything else for a better drying method. Which way is he going to be better off and lose less potency?

I would dry them, they are far easyer to
store dry, and give you a bit of a gassy stomach
if over mature.

Just make sure you weigh them when they're wet or you won't know what kind of dose you're taking if they're not 100% dry yet.

You can pick them and keep them fresh in the fridge for a few days. I'd put them in a paper bag though.
