Yellow Contamination in substrate during fruiting

My first tub ever just started fruiting a few days ago. Today, I noticed a yellow patch on one corner that had been white & fluffy the previous day. I have read through the posts I could find, and found conflicting answers about being able to save the flush.
Also, I expected a bunch of small pins when it started to fruit, but what I got was one big guy, and one half it's size. A couple days later more started showing up. is this normal?

Damn!
Myc looks like shag carpet.
The corners probably bacteria, could be bad could be no big deal.
Rest looks great though.

Long strandy rope-like myc growth can be indicative of a bacterial contamination.
The myc grows like that in search of a a cleaner path/food.
Combine that with the yellowing and one could ascertain your sub is likely bacterial.
Itll still fruit. Depending on how bad it is you can usually expect a huge pinset dump which sometimes is multiple flushes all at once as its putting all of its energy into urgent reproduction/survival.
The surface is a little dry but the humidty is probably good [the myc growth on the base of the stipe] so Id mist lightly and tune in the fae until pinset formation is complete
In the first 2 pics is that a before and after ? Or is the tub rotated show another corner?
Looks like its the same corner. I cant tell if that specklin and bright white is trich just yet but its wierd how it was paste/baking powder white then yellow. Could be metabolites for defense.

Thank you so much for your replies. Is there anything I should do to get rid of the yellow stuff? Or am I better off just paying beat the clock?

Yes- the that is before & after. I noticed the fluffy white blob, and that it looked different than the rest, but it was white so I didn't think any more of it. The two pics are yesterday and today.
Thank again!

Id isolate that tub into a seperate room and keep an eye on it. If the sub is bacterial and there is trich present it might not [prob wont] end so well
Peek on it before snatching the tub lid off and avoid dispersing sporulated mold into the air.
I cant say whether or not its going to trich out but the odds are not in your favor so just either play quarantine for a while and prepare hit the killswitch and maybe you can get a quick flush.
Obviously if it goes south-SOUTH and if you plan on growing more often; then 1 shit tub isnt worth contaminating an entire space IF it does infact show green mold here soon.
Sorry for the way im writing and editing. Very tired just woke up trying to get my brain going lol

Ok- Sounds good. It is a lone tub now, so easy to keep separate. I'll remove my jars and keep an eye on it.
Stay safe & healthy!

Jfaniss4, you should always ask a question than respond to a 3-year-old thread. Please pay attention to the original date the thread was posted, this person may not even be around anymore, much less respond. Welcome to the Shroomery.

You can see below his avatar that OP hasn't logged in for a year. Rather than necro it's always better to post in a general-purpose thread which is active (ask quick questions get quick answers, cultivation discussion general, photo of the day, etc) or make your own thread. Either way post pictures.
The yellow is metabolites from stressed mycelium, it's not a "trash it immediately" situation like trich but is an indicator that the tub is fighting something. All there is to do is keep an eye on it and toss if the contam wins
